Abraham Lincoln: Edit
On April14,1865,President Abraham Lincoln,his wife,Major Henry Rathbone,and his fiancee Clara Harris were at Ford's Theatre waching the play "Our American Cousin".John Wilkes Booth arrived at Ford's Theatre at 9:00pm that night.Duing the third act of the play,Booth shot Lincoln in the back of the head with a Philadelphia Deringer.Lincoln was carried across the street by doctors to William Peterson's boarding house.On April15,1865 at 7:22am,President Lincoln died.
James A. Garfield: Edit
On July2,1881,Preident James A. Garfield was at the Baltimore and Patomac Railroad station so that he could leave for his summer vacation.Charles J. Guiteau shot him twice with his .44 Webley British Bulldog revolver:The first bullet grazed the President's arm the other one in his first lumbar vertebra.He suffered 10 weeks after his assassination until he died on September19,1881 at 10:35pm.
William McKinley: Edit
On September6,1901,President William McKinley was at the Temple of Music in Buffalo,New York.At 4:07pm,Leon Czolgosz shoots McKinley twice after he reached out for his "bandaged" hand.The President died on September14,1901 at 2:15am.
John F. Kennedy: Edit

Kennedy,his wife,and the rest of the presidential entourage arrived at Love Field in Dallas,Texas at 11:40am CST.At 12:30pm CST,Kennedy's limo approached the Texas School Book Depository and then 3 gunshots were fired by Lee Harvey Oswald:The first shot missed the President, the second and third shots hit him.His motorcade took him to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he died at 1:00pm CST.

On January30,1835,President Andrew Jackson attended a funeral for South Carolina Representative Warren R. Davis.As he walked out of the United States Capitol,Richard Lawrance,a unemployed housepainter from England aimed two flintlock pistols at Jackson.Both misfired.

On November1,1950,President Harry Truman was at the Blair House when Oscar Collazo and Griselio Torresola tried to assassinate Truman.A gunfight between Collazo and Torresola killed White House police officer Leslie Coffelt.

On December11,1960,President-elect John F. Kennedy was in Palm Beach,Florida when Richard Paul Pavlick planned to crash his 1950 Buick which was dynamite-laden into Kennedy's vehicle.The plan was foiled when he saw Kennedy's wife and kids.

On February22,1974,Samuel Byck planned to kill President Nixon by crashing a commercial airliner into the White House.Byck was the only death in the assassination attempt.

On September5,1975,Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme,a follower of Charles Manson aimed a Colt 45 Caliber handgun at President Ford.Secret Service agent Larry Buendorf put his thumb under the hammer to prevent the gun from firing.Fromme was sentenced to life in prison but released on August14,2009.
On September22,1975,Sara Jane Moore aimed a revolver at the President but it misfired because Oliver Sipple grabbed her arm.Moore was sentenced to life in prison but released on December31,2007.

On May5,1979,Raymond Lee Harvey was arrested for carrying a pistol to assassinate President Jimmy Carter two minutes before Carter was about to speak at the Civic Center Mall in Los Angeles,California.

On March30,1981,President Ronald Reagan was walking to his limosine when John Hinckley Jr. fired six shots in three seconds out of a Rohm RG-14 .22 Caliber blue steel revolver:
- The first shot hit White House Press Secratary James Brady in the head.
- The second shot hit District of Columbia police officer Thomas Delahanty in the back.
- The third shot hit a window of a building across the street.
- The fourth shot hit Secret Service agent Timothy McCarthy in the abdomen.
- The fifth shot hit the bullet-proof glass of the Presidential limosine.
- The sixth shot bounced off the President's limosine and hit President Reagan one inch away from his heart.
President Reagan recovered at George Washington University Hospital.Brady,Delahanty,and McCarthy recovered as well.
George H.W.Bush: Edit
On April13,1993,President George H.W.Bush was speaking at Kuwait University when 16 men tried to assassinate him by smuggling a car bomb.

On September12,1994,Frank Eugene Cordor flew a single-engine Cessna into the White House lawn trying to hit the White House.Cordor only killed himself in the assassination attempt.
On October29,1994,Francisco Martin Duran fired at least 29 shots from a semi-automatic rifle from the White House fence.Duran was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
In November,1994 Ramzi Yousef planned to blow up the Presidential motorcade.The plan was foiled because of heavy security.

On February7,2001,Robert Pickett fired shots from a weapon from the White House fence.Pickett was sentenced to three years in prison.
On September11,2001,a van occupied by Middle Eastern men claimed they had a "poolside" interview with President Bush.They didn't so they were turned away.
On May10,2005,President Bush was giving a speech in Tbilisi,Georgia(country) when Valdimir Arutyunian threw a live Soviet-made RGD-5 hand grenade at Bush.It didn't explode because there was a red tartan handkercrief wrapped around it.
